    Basically, a slaister is a wet, sloppy mess or someone working in a sloppy, messy way. To slaister means to splash about messily with water.

    We used to use it when talking about someone dribbling their food or beeing a messy eater, but it can also meen sloppiness and messiness when using wet things like water etc
